Hi, I’m Jaimie — thanks for checking out the site.

I’m primarily a cinematographer, but I’m also an experienced stills photographer.

In 2025, I opened a portrait studio at home in Stoke Newington, with the aim of offering headshots and portraits for actors. Most of my filming work takes me overseas and away from my family — the studio helps bring a little balance to the time I spend on the road.

When I’m away on a shoot, I generally find myself filming, photographing, and directing some pretty high-profile people. They’re often actors, though not always, and invariably, they live in the public eye.

In 2019, I received a BAFTA nomination for a series I shot in North Korea with Sir Michael Palin. I also shot most of the first series of Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy, which won an Emmy in 2020. For the last five years, I’ve been one of the DoPs on the Emmy-winning Netflix series Drive to Survive, about Formula 1.

Since the North Korea series, I’ve traveled with Michael Palin through Iraq, Nigeria, and — earlier this year — Venezuela. Being on the road with a Python is every bit as fun and wonderful as you probably imagine.

In September 2025, I completed my third documentary series with Eva Longoria, shooting across Mexico, Spain, and France.

I’ve also shot theatrical-release feature documentaries on Iron Maiden, George Michael, and Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood.

Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast is due for release this autumn.

The Ronnie Wood film was directed by Mike Figgis, who received an Academy Award nomination for Best Director for his film Leaving Las Vegas, which also earned Elizabeth Shue a nomination for Best Actress and won Nicolas Cage the Oscar for Best Actor.

There are plenty of talented headshot photographers out there, but few with my background in capturing both motion and stills of such high-profile figures.
